I really don’t like wasting paint (or anything.)

Years ago, I started wiping off the excess paint from my brushes onto the closet doors in my studio. I just couldn’t see wiping them off on rags and then disposing harmful chemicals into the landfill. I even “recylcled” the gray sludge at the bottom of the turp onto the doors.

Turns out, this is the largest painting I ever made—I don’t think I could recreate it if I tried.
